Master Classes

New York Youth Musicians offers a unique program of Master Classes.  Students are exposed to different instruments, styles of music, techniques and are given the opportunity to work closely with well distinguished musicians.

Simon Boyar - Percussion - faculty at New York University, graduate of The Juilliard School

Charlie Porter - Trumpet - graduate of Manhattan School of Music and Paris Conservatory

Project Trio - Flute, Bass, Cello - world touring musicians

Wilson Torres - Percussion - percussionist for In The Heights, graduate of Manhattan School of Music

Albert Rivera - Saxophone - freelance musician and graduate of The New School and LaGuardia HS

The Xylopholks - NYC touring ensemble performing ragtime music

Jonathan Singer - freelance percussionist, Berklee College of Music, Queens Conservatory, Interlochen Alumni

Rumba Flamenco - Guitar Duo - Brooklyn based flamenco guitar duo
